Most pieces we sell are gold plated/platinum plated metal, brass, or stainless steel. Gold plated means they are slow to tarnish if taken care of properly. Hand crafted items require delicate handling. 

Here are some tips to take care of your jewels.

• Do not shower or sleep in your jewels
• Do not use harsh chemicals or cleaning products while wearing
• Refrain from getting lotion or other beauty products on them
• Do not store them where they can rub against or tangle with other pieces

Exposing your jewels to any of these elements can cause tarnishing. Tarnishing can also be caused by the skin's natural pH levels. 

To clean your jewels, wipe it with a soft cloth. We do not recommend using jewelry cleaner.
